What are open shifts?

Open shifts are shift times that your manager has made available for employees to pick up. If you want extra working hours, you can claim an open shift and it will be added to your schedule.

How to find open shifts

On the home screen, you'll see an "Open Shifts" section showing how many shifts are currently available to claim. Tap on this section to go to the open shifts calendar.

Open shifts calendar

The calendar displays all open shifts for the month. Days with available shifts will be marked with a dot.

Below the calendar, you'll see a list of shifts with key information: date, time, location, and the number of available spots.

The number next to each shift (e.g., "0/3") shows how many spots are already taken and how many are available in total. For example, "0/3" means all 3 spots are still open.

To view only a specific day's shifts, tap on that day in the calendar. Tap the same day again to return to viewing the full month's shifts.

How to claim a shift

  1. In the open shifts list, tap on the shift you want to claim

  2. A window will open with detailed information: date, time, duration, location, and available spots

  3. Tap the "Claim Shift" button

Once the shift is successfully claimed, it will appear in your shift calendar.

Good to know

  • Open shifts work on a first-come, first-served basis — if spots are limited, act quickly to claim the shift you want.

  • Claimed shifts become your regular shifts and will be visible in your calendar.

  • If you need to cancel a claimed shift, contact your manager.
