Attaching Files to a Message
Open the channel where you want to share a file.
Click the Attach files button (paperclip icon) next to the message input.
Select one or more files from your device.
The selected files appear as previews below the message input.
Optionally type a message to accompany the files.
Press Enter or click Send.
The files are uploaded and shared with the channel. Other members can see and download them immediately.
Limits

Maximum files per message | 10 files |
If you try to attach a file larger than 25 MB, you will see a File must be under 25MB error. If you try to attach more than 10 files, you will see a Maximum 10 files allowed error.
Tip: If you need to share a file larger than 25 MB, consider using a cloud storage link (e.g., Google Drive) and pasting the link in your message instead.
Image Previews
Image files (such as .jpg, .png, .gif) are displayed as visual thumbnails directly in the message. You can click on an image thumbnail to view it at full size.
Non-image files (such as .pdf, .docx, .xlsx) are displayed as file cards showing the file name and a download button.
Downloading Files
To download a file that has been shared in the chat:
Find the message containing the file.
Click the Download button on the file attachment.
The file downloads to your device using your browser's default download location.
Upload Status
While a file is uploading, you will see an Uploading... indicator. If the upload fails, an error message appears and you can try again.
Note: Large files may take a few moments to upload depending on your internet speed. The message will not be sent until all attachments have finished uploading.
